The 12-week syllabus

Weeks 1 to 3

Build your foundations

Week 1

Marketing foundations and customer research

The funnel, customer intent, audience segments, positioning and offers, and the metrics that matter: reach, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rate, CPA and ROAS.

You build: Customer research brief, competitor comparison and a one-page marketing plan.

Week 2

Content and social media planning

Content pillars, platform fit, hooks, captions, calls to action, creative briefs, basic design and responsible use of AI drafts.

You build: Content calendar, creative samples and a messaging guide.

Week 3

SEO and search intent

Keyword research, intent, titles, headings, internal links, crawl and index concepts, local search and audit prioritisation.

You build: Keyword map, SEO page draft and a prioritised audit.

Weeks 4 to 6

Build and measure

Week 4

Landing pages and conversion

Page structure, message match, mobile usability, trust signals, forms, thank-you pages and conversion rate optimisation.

You build: Landing page, QA checklist and a written improvement hypothesis.

Week 5

Measurement with GA4 and GTM

Events, key events, tags, triggers, UTMs and campaign reports, plus consent, data minimisation and attribution.

You build: Measurement plan, event test evidence and a reporting template.

Week 6

Google Ads search campaigns

Campaign structure, match types, search terms, negatives, responsive search ads, assets, budget pacing, bidding and conversion setup.

You build: Google Ads campaign build, negative keyword list, copy variants and launch checklist.

Weeks 7 to 9

Run and improve campaigns

Week 7

Meta Ads and creative testing

Objectives, campaign and ad-set structure, audiences, placements, lead forms versus website leads, creative formats and measurement.

You build: Meta campaign plan, creative variants, lead flow and test rationale.

Week 8

Supervised live campaigns

Launch approved campaigns with real, funded budgets. Account hygiene, access roles, pacing, change logs, delivery checks and disapprovals.

You build: Launch evidence, role log, spend ledger and first performance report.

Week 9

Optimisation and performance analysis

Diagnose delivery, clicks, landing pages, leads and lead quality, and tell real patterns apart from noise.

You build: Optimisation log, annotated dashboard and a brief on what changed and why.

Weeks 10 to 12

Prepare for work

Week 10

Email and lead nurturing

Permission-based lists, segmentation, welcome sequences, subject lines, unsubscribes and CRM stages from enquiry to qualification.

You build: Email sequence, lead pipeline and a working or documented automation.

Week 11

Reporting and portfolio development

Turn campaign data into a business update, build dashboards and write a case study without exaggerating your role.

You build: Portfolio draft, campaign case study and a five-slide client presentation.

Week 12

Interview preparation and capstone review

Prepare for entry-level paid media, SEO and social media roles with technical and HR mock interviews and a timed practical task.

You build: Reviewed CV and LinkedIn, final portfolio, interview feedback and an improvement plan.

Practical support

Help, whenever you need it.

Starting from zero

Begin with a plain-language glossary and guided demonstrations. Practise one task at a time, then do it yourself with trainer feedback.

Stuck after a lesson

Bring screenshots or the exact step to a dedicated doubt-clearing session, and work through it with your trainer.

Missed a topic

Use the session recap and material, complete the practice task, and bring questions to the next doubt class.

Worried about wasting ad spend

Every live campaign is reviewed with your trainer before launch, and budget changes need approval.

AI tools for three months

Use the course AI toolkit for research, ad copy, creative concepts, reporting and interview practice, at no additional cost for 90 days.

Learn from actual results

Keep a spend ledger and change log. Sound decisions matter more than claiming impressive results.
